This Dell OptiPlex 3020 takes a proven business-class desktop and gives it a new purpose: a dedicated Linux computer prepared for OpenClaw, AI automation, Telegram-based interaction, home-lab projects, and experimentation with modern AI tools.
Instead of starting with a blank PC, installing Linux, configuring the operating system, setting up OpenClaw, preparing remote access, and assembling the pieces yourself, this system arrives with much of that foundation already in place.
It runs Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS and has been prepared as an OpenClaw Plugin-Ready environment, giving you a dedicated machine on which to build your own AI workflows.
This isn’t a locked-down appliance. It’s a real Linux computer.
Connect a monitor and keyboard and use it like a normal Ubuntu desktop. Keep it running on your network as a dedicated automation machine. Access the desktop remotely from another computer. OpenClaw provides the layer that connects an AI agent running through your system with tools, services, and supported messaging channels. On this PC, the basic environment has already been assembled so you can spend less time building the foundation and more time deciding what you actually want your system to do.
You can configure OpenClaw for AI-assisted workflows, API-connected tasks, Linux automation, Telegram interaction, reminders, command workflows, plugins and skills, or simply use the machine as a place to learn how modern agent-based AI systems work.
This is particularly useful for someone who wants to experiment with OpenClaw but doesn’t want to begin with a completely blank Linux installation.

One of the most interesting parts of an OpenClaw setup is that the computer doesn’t always have to feel like something sitting underneath a desk.

Run it at your desk—or let it live on your network.
NoMachine remote desktop software is installed and preconfigured for local-network access.
That makes the OptiPlex particularly useful as a small dedicated AI or home-lab machine. After initial setup, you can place it somewhere convenient on your network and access its Ubuntu desktop from another compatible computer rather than keeping a dedicated monitor attached at all times.
Use it as a normal desktop when you want direct access. Run it headless when you don’t.
For someone learning Linux, APIs, AI agents, automation, or home networking, that flexibility is part of the appeal: this is a computer you can experiment with rather than a sealed AI gadget.

There isn’t one required way to use this system.

The system is used hardware that has been tested and confirmed working.
Ubuntu and the OpenClaw environment are installed before shipment. NoMachine is prepared for LAN remote access, and setup information is included to help you take control of the system after delivery.
The computer will ship with temporary login credentials. Those credentials should be changed by the buyer after setup.
After receiving the system, the basic path is straightforward: power it on, sign into Ubuntu, review the included OpenClaw instructions, connect your preferred AI provider, configure your own credentials, pair Telegram if you want mobile interaction, and begin building your setup.
